Jaimeé Arroyo has been one of my most requested guests to have on the podcast and I was lucky enough to have her join me on today’s episode!  Jaimeé is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended Black Hawk Community College and received an Associates Degree in Nursing (RN). After seven years of hospital experience in the critical care unit, medical surgical unit and emergency room, she sought further education. She finished her Bachelor’s Degree from Cumberland Online University and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Tennessee State University. Jaimeé also specializes in herbology and essential oil use.

Topics discussed with Jaimeé:

  • How following her heart led her down the path of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner and being a part owner of her own practice
  • The importance of having a vision of what you want your business to look like and deciding on the people you want to serve
  • What part of the process does Jaimeé enjoy the most and how they “manage the crisis”
  • Other practitioners that work at Hopewell Family Care and how they carefully vet new providers they hire
  • The need of networking and collaborating women’s health in Nashville
  • How choosing a medical provider that works for you is so important and not having fear of telling a provider they are not serving your needs
