Dr. Aimee Bailey, PT, DPT

I am a workaholic, somewhat quirky and fairly crunchy. I love what I do and am passionate about helping people live their best life.

My greatest joy is being the mother to my 3 lively girls- Eden, Anya and Arrow.

I have been in the field of pelvic health since 2006 and have since navigated my own pelvic health concerns including 2 C-sections, 1 VBAC after 2 C-sections, pelvic pain from Adenomyosis and Pelvic Congestion Syndrome, painful intercourse and urinary leakage.  I use my exercise and personal experience to help others find healing from their pelvic health concerns.  I am passionate about helping women release their fear of pain around exercise and sexual activity.

My Passion

By trade, I am a Physical Therapist. but at my heart I am a lifelong learner who loves to help other people navigate this crazy journey of life.  In undergrad I studied Psychology and then after my grandfather had a stroke, I decided to switch paths and attend Physical Therapy School.

My career started in pediatrics, but through various life changes and moves I have experience in sports/orthopedic, assisted living care, skilled nursing/inpatient rehab and pelvic health.  I spend 6 years of my journey in a Rehab Manager role and learned a ton about healthcare management and the financial side of rehab.  In 2018 I left management and started my PT practice in Pelvic Health.  I have been involved in Pelvic Health since 2006 in some way or another and found my calling in helping people understand how the pelvic floor and its organs help us functionally in relation to urination, bowel function, sexuality, life changes (pregnancy, postpartum, menopause.).

Throughout my journey,  I have navigated my own pelvic health struggles and am able to give both professional and personal experiences to my clients. I have 3 beautiful daughter and have navigated C-sections as well as a vaginal delivery after two C-section s(VBA2C).  Along the way, I was diagnosed with Pelvic Congestion syndrome (PeVD) and Adenomyosis- both have led me down a pelvic pain journey and strengthened my desire to help people with pelvic pain.

My current practice focuses on 3 pillars- Physical Therapy + Pilates + Sexual Health Counseling.

Testimonials

Aimee has a huge heart for people.  She has helped me adjust my mindset and my heart.  She spends time with you, listens to you and addresses every little detail.  I have never felt so completely overwhelmed with support from someone in healthcare.  There are so many problems that women face that we think are a normal part of aging or are okay because we had kids.  It’s not true!  you don’t have to live with pain or embarrassing problems…there is help!
